LISBON - In Columbiana County Municipal Court a Jan. 17 pretrial was set for Chealsea A. Cope, 35, Silliman Street, New Waterford, charged with possession of a drug abuse instrument and two counts of drug paraphernalia.
According to court documents, while police were at Cope's home on Dec. 26 to arrest Jason Cope on a warrant, they found a white powder, rolled papers for snorting, a spoon with burnt marks on the bottom and 15 syringes under the bed, including five which had been used. Previously, on Oct. 31 police also reportedly found a spoon with white residue when they were at her home. Bond was set at $5,000.
Cope has August 2012 convictions of possession of drug abuse instrument, OVI first offense, left of center, lighted lights required, driving under suspension, which will be reviewed on Thursday also.
