SALEM - The Ink N More store formerly located in the Terry Towne Plaza on the east side opened in a new facility in Quaker Square at 2789 E. State St., according to owner Larry Holisky.
The move was made over the holidays and the store reopened on Jan. 2 after closing the old location on Dec. 24.
Holisky is running a 10-percent discount sale until the end of the month to celebrate the reopening.
He started Ink N More five years ago to fill his own need for inkjet cartridge refills at a decent price.
"I was going to another local inkjet cartridge refill shop at the Southern Park Mall, and then one day they were gone," he told a local business guide.
"Every time that I went there, getting my own inkjet cartridges refilled I thought it was such a great idea and a great way to save money, so hence, there is now Ink N More in Salem."
Ironically, as happened to himself at the Southern Park Mall, people have been pulling up to his old location and wondering where he went.
There are signs in the window, but he's unsure how long they'll remain there.
His new location is "across from the side entrance to Walmart," he said. That would be across from the west entrance.
Quaker Square is a bit of an anomaly since it is actually on Cunningham Road but has an East State Street address.
The new location "is easier to get in and out of," he said.
Ink N More is on Facebook and is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. For more information, call 330-332-1500.
The business recently started offering cellphone repairs in store and there are plans to add other services and products.
