MOBILE, Ala. - Carol Jean Evans, 63, of Mobile, Ala., formerly of Lisbon, died at 12:05 p.m. Wednesday at her home following a lengthy illness.
Born April 21, 1949, in East Liverpool, she was the daughter of Carroll G. Pickens and Janell C. Pickens.
Mrs. Evans had been employed as a behavior coach at Beaver Local Middle School before retiring and also the owner of GTT Vendors of Mobile, Ala. She was a member of the Elkton United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, James A. Evans Sr., whom she married Feb. 17, 1968; a daughter, Tamara J. Evans of Mobile, Ala.; a son, James Evans Jr. (Tracie) of Lisbon; two sisters, Sandra Hall and Marlene Stewart, both of Lisbon; two brothers, Charles Art and Adam Mark, both of Lisbon; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held in Lisbon at a later date.
Arrangements were handled by the Ascentions Funeral Home in Mobile, Ala.
