LISBON - In Columbiana County Municipal Court Tuesday, Stephen Vishak, 19, state Route 518, Lisbon, was bound over to the Columbiana County Common Pleas Court grand jury on a charge of violating a temporary protection order. According to court documents, Vishak is accused of going to a Prospect Street apartment to see a girl, who there is a protection order barring him from seeing. The mother would not allow him in and called police. Bond was set at $50,000 personal recognizance. Vishak has a previous conviction of violating a temporary restraining order.

Jerry P. Jackson, 31, state Route 45, Lisbon, was fined $200 and sentenced to 90 days in jail for obstructing official business and persistent disorderly conduct for refusing to give deputies his name or cooperate with requests for him to quiet down when they were called to his home for a reported domestic dispute early Tuesday. Jackson was further ordered to appear Thursday for a review hearing on these charges, as well as previous convictions of four counts passing bad checks.

Duane I. Barnes, 42, Lisbon Road, Lisbon, was fined $450, had his license suspended for 180 days and required 20 hours community service for driving under FRA suspension, two lights displayed, open container and possession of marijuana.

Gerald E. Greathouse, 60, 18th Street Heights, Wellsville, was fined $150 and had his license suspended for 180 days for possession of marijuana.

Jennifer M. Green, 22, South 15th Street, Sebring, was fined $150 for improper backing amended from hit skip.d

Jerad James Chestnut, 23, East Third Street, Salem, was fined $130 for driving under suspension and failure to display a valid sticker.

Benjamin A. Curl, 24, Court Street, Columbiana, was fined $100 for speeding.

A probable cause hearing of a probation violation was set for Feb. 14 for Cyeis Janaa Lynn Knight, 33, Hollow Street, Minerva, who reportedly failed to appear at a previous probable cause hearing in September. Bond was set at $20,000. Knight has a previous conviction of OVI first offense, driving under suspension and failure to control.

A Feb. 25 court trial was set for Christine R. Desellem, 22, South Green Street, Lisbon, cited with speeding.

A March 5 pretrial was set for Cody A. Wilson, 22, West South Range Road, Salem, cited with disorderly conduct for allegedly running from police and hiding behind a pillar under a West State Street bridge in Salem.

A March 5 pretrial was set for Kelly M. Green, 23, Sunset Drive, Wellsville, charged with violating a temporary protection order for allegedly returning to a home on Sunset Drive, Wellsville, in November, a day after she was told by deputies to collect her belongings and not return.

A March 11 pretrial was set for Joseph R. Kee, 24, Rochester Road, East Rochester, charged with OVI first offense and traffic control devices.

A March 12 pretrial was set for Justin E. Houle, 28, Grant Street, New Waterford, cited with hit skip, reckless operation and assured clear distance after reportedly striking a vehicle driven by Ronald Allen St. George, 55, Brushville Road, East Palestine, on state Route 14 in Columbiana on Jan. 25, circling a business and striking it a second time as he fled.

A March 12 pretrial was set for Jeffrey J. Cox, 30, Andrew Avenue, Salem, cited with driving under suspension and failure to display a valid sticker.

In court last week, Tommy L. Brown, 55, Camp Boulevard, Hanoverton, was fined $600, had his license suspended for six months, required 30 hours community service and sentenced to three days in jail for OVI first offense and failure to control.
