LISBON - In Columbiana County Municipal Court Thursday, a Feb. 21 preliminary hearing was set for Christian L. Weimer, 37, Cleveland Street, Salem, charged with a felony domestic after a 911 call led a Salem patrolman to a Cleveland Street home where a woman was frantically telling dispatchers he was attempting to barricade herself in her garage to get away from her boyfriend. Weimer is accused of grabbing her, dragging her by the hair and choking her leaving visible marks. He also has previous convictions.

- Alex D.M. Cook, 19, Crestview Road, New Waterford, was bound over to the county grand jury on a receiving stolen property charge. According to court documents, Cook allegedly was pumping gas into a stolen pickup truck he was accused of using in the theft of scrap on Tuesday.

-Tyler J. Conkle, 22, Macklin Road, New Waterford, was fined $250, sentenced to one remaining day in jail and required 80 hours community service for two counts of criminal damaging. Additional charges of arson and assault were dismissed. Conkle and his brother Alex Conkle, were accused of throwing a flare from a vehicle toward the Shear Perfection Hair Salon building, which caught the leaves near the building on fire, shooting a BB gun toward the mobile home of Eric Elliott, narrowly missing Elliott's head with one shot and eventually shattering a window in the bedroom where Elliott's 2-year-old daughter was in bed. Finally, the pair were accused of being responsible for two soda bottle bombs thrown at Elliott's home.

-Adam W. Morrow, 27, Prospect Street, Salem, was fined $300 and sentenced to 89 days in jail for resisting arrest and criminal trespassing. Morrow on Monday came out of a vacant apartment on Newgarden Avenue and attempted to run when police tried to take him into custody, forcing them to tackle him in a gravel parking lot.

-Mystie L. Hunt, 29, Alpha Street, East Liverpool, was fined $200 and had her license suspended for 180 days for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

-Anthony E. Barbero, 32, Youngstown, was fined $200 for driving under suspension and speeding.

-Paul L. Shockley, 20, Johnson Road, Lisbon, was fined $200 and required 30 hours of community service for disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for harming his uncle.

-Jacob J. Houser, 25, Hartville, was fined $160 for driving without a valid license, use of an unauthorized plate and improper registration.

-Kory J. Whitman, 20, last known address North Lincoln Avenue, Salem, was fined $150, sentenced to one day in jail and required 30 hours community service for passing bad checks for a check written to Aarrow Disposal on a closed account.

-Robert E. Marcin III, 34, Oakdale Avenue, Wellsville, was fined $150 for disorderly conduct amended from assault for striking another man in the head with a beer bottle during a fight in the back room of the Crystal Lounge in Wellsville in November.

-Ryan A. Marcin, 34, Chester Avenue, Wellsville, was fined $150 for disorderly conduct amended from assault for his alleged part in a fight in the back room of the Crystal Lounge in Wellsville in November.

-David G. Warrick, 42, Fifth Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $150 for unsafe vehicle amended from a stop sign violation.

-A Feb. 21 pretrial was set for Ryan W. Bevington, 35, West Southern Avenue, Columbiana, cited with passing bad checks for four checks allegedly cashed by a woman under Bevington's direction, which were written on the account of a dead individual.

-A Feb. 21 pretrial was set for Chad W. Hartley, 34, West Fourth Street, East Liverpool, charged with theft for allegedly taking two pair of sunglasses and a moon pie from the BP Gas Station in Lisbon on Jan. 20.

-A Feb. 21 pretrial was set for Albert L. Baker, 37, last known address Gavers Road, Hanoverton, charged with domestic violence for allegedly pulling his daughter's hair and punched her in the face on Nov. 3.

-A March 11 pretrial was set for Robert McNeely, 35, state Route 172, East Rochester, cited with driving under FRA suspension, failure to display a valid sticker and use of an unauthorized plate.

-A March 14 pretrial was set for Charles Lee Pete Jr., 19, Youngstown, charged with driving under suspension and possession of drug paraphernalia for a digital scale allegedly found in his pocket.

-A March 18 pretrial was set for Jessica M. Jewell, 29, East Third Street, Salem, charged with theft for allegedly piling clothes near the rear door at the Kid Zone in Salem on Nov. 28, 10 days after store surveillance showed her taking clothing and placing it into her vehicle.

-A March 25 pretrial was set for Kyle Z. Temple, 19, North Market Street, Lisbon, cited with assured clear distance.

-An April 1 pretrial was set for Christopher P. Jennings Jr., 19, West Middletown Road, Salem, charged with OVI first offense and speeding.
