Barbara A. Kelly

EAST PALESTINE - Barbara A. Kelly, 67, of Padgett Road, formerly of state Route 170, died at 4 a.m. Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Boardman Campus, where she had been a patient.

She was born July 2, 1945 in Bellaire, a daughter of the late Willard and Doris Buchanon Cordery, and had resided in this area since 1965, coming from Beaver County, Pa. She had been employed as a waitress with area restaurants, and for the last 26 years, with 7 & 14 Restaurant.

She was preceded in death on May 21, 2005 by her husband Larry L. Kelly Sr., whom she married Oct. 31, 1963; and a son, Robert C. Kelly, on June 9, 1995.

She is survived by three daughters, Tina Lambright of East Palestine, Joy Veon of Tampa, Fla., and Tracy Goddard of New Waterford; and two sons, Terry Kelly of Gilbert, S.C., and Larry Kelly of Lugoff, S.C.; 22 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren. She also leaves two sisters, Donna Bess of Shadyside and Kimberly Harsher of Bellaire; and four brothers, Gary Cordery of Wheeling, W.Va., and Robert, William Jr., and Donald Cordery, all of Martin's Ferry.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Oliver-Linsley Funeral Home, with Rev. Jeff Schoch of Abundant Life Fellowship, New Waterford, officiating.

Burial will follow in Crest Haven Memorial Gardens, New Waterford. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 1 to 3 and 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
