NEW MIDDLETOWN -Grace May Kimble, 89, of New Middletown, formerly of New Springfield, died Tuesday evening at St. Elizabeth Medical Center Boardman campus.
Born Feb. 1, 1924, in New Castle, Pa., she was the daughter of Dale and Pearl (Guterba) Rogers.
Mrs. Kimble had been employed at Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2799 in New Springfield. She was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death Nov. 3, 1977, by her husband, Porter E. Kimble, whom she married July 25, 1946.
Survivors include her daughters, Martha (Rod) Mcewan, Bonnie McTague and Janet VanKirk, all of Boardman, Betty Ann (Ken) Robertson, Ruth (Bill) Burns and Donna (Mason) Evans, all of New Springfield and Karen Hoopes of Poland; five sons, Robert Kimble of Woodworth, William (Betty) Kimble of Louisville, Donald Kimble of New Springfield, Larry (Maryann) Kimble of Canfield and Charles (Ellen) Kimble of Ellsworth; 41 grandchildren; over 100 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.
She also was preceded by a son, Clarence; and two infant daughters, Darlene and Denise.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the church with Pastor Larry Klinker officiating.
Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Seederly-Mong and Beck Funeral Home, 11500 Market St., North Lima, and one hour prior to the services at the church.
