WELLSBURG - A 16-3 opening stanza for Brooke spelled trouble for Oak Glen.

The Bruins held a 31-point lead at halftime as the Bears managed just seven points en route to a 62-30 win for homestanding Brooke.

The win moves the Bruins to 15-7 on the season, while Oak Glen falls to 3-17.

Tayler Kincaid and Brennan Smith both netted eight points for the Bears.

Brooke was paced by Thomas Cole's 13 points.

Oak Glen will play its final regular season game at Wellsville on Thursday and open tournament play on Saturday.

LOWELLVILLE - Lowellville secured a 79-48 win over East Palestine on Tuesday in a regular season contest. Austen Reiser had 20 points and 11 rebounds for the Bulldogs, 11-10.

Steve Parker added 14 points.

East Palestine will be back in action on Tuesday against Canton Central Catholic in the Div. III tournament at Salem. The game will start at 5:30 p.m.

Lowellville won the jayvee game 57-36. Grant Wagner had eight for the Bulldogs.
