Staff Reports , Salem News

LISBON - On the heels of Gov. Kasich's State of the State message, state Rep. Nick Barborak is planning a town hall meeting in the county. It will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 2, at the Columbiana Library.

"The governor has outlined his legislative priorities. Now I want to hear feedback from the citizens of Columbiana County on the issues we are facing," Barborak said in a press release. "I hope to have a discussion about education funding, Medicaid expansion, and the governor's proposed tax reform ideas, including the severance tax."

Everyone is welcome to attend the event and discuss issues involving our state and communities. No reservations are necessary. For more information, contact Barborak's office at 614-466-8022.
