Canfield Masons hold annual inspection, honor past district deputies

March 3, 2013
Salem News

A special meeting was held Feb. 15 at Argus Lodge in Canfield for the annual inspection. District Deputy John Martin served as the inspecting officer. Pictured are James C. Feist, left, and David L. Collins, past district deputies of the 24th Masonic District, who were presented plaques by Russell W. Gillam Jr. for their achievement of attending 300 consecutive lodge inspections. In 2002, when Feist and Collins started their journey, there were 31 Lodges in the 24th Masonic district now there are 25. Every lodge holds an inspection each year and for over 11 years these two brothers have not missed one. This is an achievement that has never previously been accomplished in the 24th Masonic district. (Submitted photo)
