Western Reserve Rangers elect officers for 2013

BERLIN?CENTER-Officers were elected when the Western Reserve Rangers 4-H Club met Feb. 14. The new officers are President Levi Smith, Vice Presidents Ian Hames and Jena Styka, Secretaries Shannon Marshburn and Emily Smith, Treasurer s Remi Suyen Miken and Ian Hames, Recreation Leader Abby Schors and Health Leader Karl Reph. Members voted to support the community Easter egg hunt with a donation. Each family was asked to bring one dozen eggs for the egg hunt to the March 14 meeting. Reporting on the upcoming county 4-H Fashion Board meetings was Emily Smith. Levi Smith encouraged the teen members to get involved in the county Junior Leader Club. Club Advisors Laura Jones and Robin Reph registered the members for 2013. Western Reserve Rangers 4-H Club alumna Sara Cummings will be interning under fashion designer Nanette Lepore in New York City this summer. Cummings is working toward a degree in fashion merchandising at Youngstown State University. She is the daughter of Ken and Tina Cummings of New Middletown. The next meeting begins at 7 p.m. March 14.
