LISBON - In Columbiana County Municipal Court on Thursday Sheridan S. Taylor, 21, Salineville Road West, Salineville, was bound over to the grand jury on a tampering with evidence charge. Court documents allege Taylor attempted to hinder an investigation by taking a digital CD from a case file on the desk of a police officer on Feb. 25.
A March 14 preliminary hearing was set for Charity A. Riggs, 19, South Ellsworth Avenue, Salem, charged with theft for allegedly stealing a check from Rebecca Simpson and writing it to herself for $175 before cashing it on Feb. 26.
Susan Jones, 51, last known address East Fifth Street, Salem, was sentenced to 89 days in jail for criminal damaging for kicking out a window and framing at the back door of Wayne Washington's home on Jan. 16. A restitution hearing was set for April 4.
Casey A. Hockman, 27, Roseville, was fined $1,675, had his license suspended for one year and sentenced to 15 days in jail for OVI second offense, driving under suspension, head lights violation, hit skip, failure to reinstate a license and failure to control.
Ray E. Callehan, 46, West Main Street, Salineville, was fined $1,225, had his license suspended for 180 days and was sentenced to 60 days in jail for OVI first offense, hit skip, failure to control and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
Emily S. Noel, 19, state Route 14, East Palestine, was fined $1,000, sentenced to 180 days in jail and required 30 hours community service for underage consumption.
Breanne N. Little, 25, state Route 558, Leetonia, was fined $730, had her license suspended for 180 days and sentenced to 20 days in jail for OVI first offense, failure to control and a seat belt violation.
Sue Mitzi Stoddard, 23, Moore Street, East Liverpool, was fined $350 and required 30 hours community service for driving under suspension, marked lanes and possession of drugs for two diazepam pills and two mylan pills found in her wallet.
James A. Huff, 37, state Route 558, New Waterford, was fined $250, sentenced to three days in jail, had his license suspended for 180 days, sentenced to three days in jail and required 20 hours community service for reckless operation amended from OVI first offense.
Jeremy Samuel Stanley, 29, North Market Street, East Palestine, was fined $225 for driving under FRA suspension and speeding.
Douglas P. Brayshaw, 24, East Rebecca Street, East Palestine, was fined $150 and required 40 hours community service for assault amended from domestic violence for entering the bedroom of George Gilbert while he was sleeping, starting an argument with him and then striking him in the head several times on Feb. 19.
John S. Brown Jr., 29, Continental Drive, Salem, was fined $100 and required 20 hours community service for disorderly conduct after he had been drinking and was screaming at his girlfriend in public after being warned several times to stop.
Tracey L. Woods, 33, Toronto, was fined $100 unsafe vehicle amended from failure to control.
An April 4 pretrial was set for Amanda S. Heverly, 38, South Union Avenue, Salem, cited with OVI second offense and driving under suspension.
An April 11 pretrial was set for Benjamin H. Wiley Sr., 39, Columbia Street, Leetonia, cited with use of unauthorized plate and driving under suspension.
An April 11 pretrial was set for Thomas O. Binion, 40, Mineral Ridge, charged with OVI first offense and use of an unauthorized plate.
An April 22 pretrial was set for Brandon W. Gardner, 22, West Pinelake Road, Salem, charged with drug abuse for allegedly having a container with finely ground marijuana in his possession on Feb. 26.
A June 6 pretrial was set for Steven D. Digman, 47, Thompson Avenue, East Liverpool, cited with driving under suspension and a railroad crossing violation.
A June 6 pretrial was set for Justin Dawon Sr., 19, Sixteen School Road, Wellsville, cited with no license.
A June 11 pretrial was set for Michael S. Roberts, 33, Scio, cited with failure to reinstate a license.
