The Salem Beautification Committee has announced that individuals, families, groups or organizations will once again have the opportunity to purchase flowers for the downtown planters through its "Adopt a Planter" program. A marker will be placed in each planter with the donor's name. The donor may also add: in honor or in memory of an organization or loved one. Cost is $15 for small, $20 for tall and $30 for large planters which will be planted in May. To participate call Tammy Peppel at the chamber at 330-337-3473. Make checks payable to: Salem Chamber of Commerce and drop it off or mail to: 713 E. State St., Salem, Ohio 44460.
