LISBON - An AK47 rifle and 18 handguns were reportedly taken from a home on County Airport Road in Madison Township on Thursday morning.

Deputies from the sheriff's department are investigating the burglary reported at 11:10 a.m. Thursday at the home of Bill and Robin Lako.

Robin Lako told deputies she was away from the house from about 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Sometime during her absence, someone entered the house by prying open the door and popping the deadbolt on the door at the north end of the house.

Deputies took descriptions of the stolen weapons and they will be entered in the Ohio Law Enforcement Gateway database.
