- Police responded to a 500 block Madison Avenue home at 9:57 a.m. Friday where a woman reported finding items possibly missing from her bathroom after a male friend and his new girlfriend had been visiting the night before.

- Officers responded to Yard Bark Pet Supplies on West State Street at 10:54 a.m. Friday where a driver had pulled into the parking lot and struck a dog house in front of the store, pushing it into the building and breaking a large window.

- Police responded to an East Fourth Street home at 2:25 p.m. Friday where a woman reported her ex live-in boyfriend had been repeatedly calling her despite being told to stop. When contacted the ex-boyfriend denied the allegation. An officer advised him not to call the complainant anymore.

- A motorist in the 400 block of South Broadway Avenue reported at 2:20 p.m. Friday seeing three male juveniles carrying bags attempting to enter a residence through a door and then a window. An officer spoke with the residents who stated that they had just returned home and had not noticed anything suspicious.

- Police responded to a 2400 block East State Street business at 6:20 p.m. Friday where the store manager requested a woman be removed. When told to leave, the woman said that a bag had been taken from in the store. She reluctantly left after officers told her they would check the surveillance video.

- A woman reported losing her wallet containing cash and personal documents at a 2800 block East State Street business at 8:32 p.m. Friday.

- Officers responded to the 400 block of Continental Drive at 10:18 p.m. Friday for a report of a possible prowler, but were unable to find anyone.

- Police responded to the 600 block of East Fifth Street at 10:52 p.m. Friday where a woman reported someone had taken her vehicle without permission.

- A West Seventh Street resident reported on station at 11:55 p.m. Friday a possible incident of child pornography that appeared on her Facebook page.

- Officers responded to the 700 block of East Third Street at 12:07 a.m. Saturday for a report of several juveniles loitering, but were unable to find anyone.

- Brandon S. Wright, 1026 E. Fourth St., Salem, was arrested on an active warrant out of the Columbiana County Sheriff's Office after his roommate told a patrolling officer that Wright had assaulted him in the 200 block of Hawley Avenue at 12:17 a.m. Saturday.

- Susan M. Lucarell, 54, 975 Somerset Drive, Salem, was cited for failure to control following a one-vehicle crash in the 2100 block of Southeast Boulevard at 12:36 a.m. Saturday in which she was southbound and allegedly lost control of her vehicle on the icy roadway, traveling off the right side of the road and striking a tree before re-entering the roadway and traveling off the left side of the road. She then re-entered the roadway and drove back off the right side. She left the scene and drove herself to the hospital for non life-threatening injuries.
