Salem man arrested after alleged fight

SALEM- Police arrested a Salem man for obstruction of business following an alleged fight outside a South Ellsworth Avenue Thursday night that left two men unconscious.

Nathan D. Winn, 22, 584 E. Sixth St., was charged with a second-degree count of obstruction of official business after police responded to a fight in the parking lot at 9:38 p.m. and found him between two buildings in the area.

According to the police report, upon arriving at the parking lot officers found two men lying unconscious and were told by several witnesses that the male suspects had fled westbound on Railroad Street. The investigating officer reportedly found Winn and took him into custody. Another possible suspect was also found in the area and claimed injury.

Salem Fire Department First Responders, KLG and EMT responded and transported one of the victims and the two suspects to the Salem Community Hospital for treatment.

Additional possible charges are pending further investigation.
