EL man pleads guilty to sexual imposition, burglary charges

LISBON - Morris E. Jones Jr., 30, Mapletree Street, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court to sexual imposition, a third-degree misdemeanor; two counts of burglary, fourth-degree felonies; and criminal trespassing, a fourth-degree misdemeanor. He faces up to 39 months incarceration. Sentencing is set for June 14.

Jones is accused of having sexual contact with a teen between 13 and 16 years old in February. Additionally, he is accused of breaking into a neighboring home on Mapletree Street on both May 6, 2011 and May 13, 2011. Then on July 7, 2011, Jones was on someone else's property while he attempted to break into another neighboring home.
