Paul L. Mollenkopf

EAST PALESTINE - Paul L. Mollenkopf, 98 of Hadley Road, died at 7:10 p.m. Saturday at the Covington Community Campus where he had been a patient for the past few weeks.

Paul was born June 20, 1914 in Darlington Township, Beaver County, PA., a son of the late Robert L. and Lela Augustine Mollenkopf. A lifetime farmer in the Unity area, he had also been employed with the former R.H. Murray and Son Feed Mill, and was also involved with his wife, Myrtle, in the Crabb Insurance Agency.

He had been a member of the Centenary United Methodist Church, and was an 85-year member of the Unity Grange, and had a one time served on the Columbiana County 4-H Steer Committee. Paul was a charter member of the Unity Township Ruritan, and had received the Columbiana - Mahoning Counties Cattleman of the Year Award.

His wife, the former Myrtle A. Crabb, whom he married Oct. 10, 1945, preceded him in death of March 15, 1994.

Paul is survived by a son, Thomas P. (Mary) Mollenkopf and a daughter, Sherry L. Linert, both of East Palestine; a brother, Arthur Mollenkopf of Eustis, TX; two grandsons, and two great-granddaughters.

A service will be held at noon on Thursday at the Oliver-Linsley Funeral Home, with his pastor, Rev. Mark McTrustry, officiating. urial will follow in Glenview Cemetery. he family will receive friends at the funeral home two hours prior to the time of service. www.oliver-linsley.com.
