Salem First Christian Church Associate Pastor Tom Coffee offered the opening prayer at the Salem National Day of Prayer event last week. An incorrect name was listed in the story published Friday regarding the event.
It was incorrectly reported Saturday that property owned by Dale and Barbara Taylor was the subject of a sheriff's sale. The Taylors were not involved in the transaction, and the mistake was with the auditor's office.
It was reported Sunday the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency required an environmental assessment be performed at the county fairgrounds before a new bridge can be erected. The assessment is being required by the U.S. EPA since federal funds have been obtained for the project.
