SEBRING - Dr. Allan H. Zagray, a resident of Copeland Oaks Retirement Community, died April 29.
Born March 2, 1934, in Toledo, he was the son of the Rev. Alfred and Lois (Hoover) Zagray.
Dr. Zagray served as pastoral leader of Evangelical United Brethren or United Methodist congregations in Pontiac, Illinois, East Cleveland, North Canton, Manchester, Bucyrus, New Concord and Coshocton, retiring in 1996. He also was manager of the Resident's Thrift Shop.
Survivors include his wife, the former Roberta G. (Pierson) Headley, whom he married in 1977; daughters, Kristine (Thomas) Galitza on Baneberry, Tenn,, Julie (Joseph) Walter of Charlotte, Mich., and Laura (Mitch) Adkins of Hillard; four stepchildren, John (Suzy) Headley of Memphis, Tenn., Kathryn Weiland of Jersey Shore, Pa., James Headley of Delaware, Ohio, and Joseph (Nancy) Headley of Byron, Ill.; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. May 19 in Bennett Chapel at Copeland Oaks.
The family will receive friends at a reception immediately following the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Copeland Care Fund through the Oaks Foundation, 800 S. 15th St., Sebring 44672. Arrangements were handled by the Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home.
