SALEM - Carl M. Oyer, known to his friends as "Snake" or "Willie," 56, of Lisbon, Ohio, died unexpectedly at 5:39 p.m. Sunday, May 5, 2013 at the Salem Community Hospital.
He was born Aug. 8, 1956 in Carrollton, Ohio, a son of John and Mabel (Raines) Oyer.
Snake was a crane operator with Parson Coal Company in East Liverpool and a longtime member of the Pagan's Motorcycle Club.
A brother, Jim and two sisters, Janie and Barbara preceded him in death.
He leaves behind his longtime love, Colleen Tomsha of Lisbon; two stepchildren, Christina and Richard; seven grandchildren, Brenna, Jessica, Trewlea, Joe, Kylin, Kinzie and Ricky; his parents; three sisters, Judy, Bonnie and Maryanne; and a brother, Tom.
Services will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at the Stark Memorial Funeral Home. Calling hours will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home prior to the services.
