Salem man found not guilty by reason of insanity

LISBON - Following an evaluation, Andrew Swetye, 49, East State Street, Salem, was found not guilty by reason of insanity on charges of failure to comply with the order of a police officer and assault. In a decision signed by Judge C. Ashley Pike, as a result of his paranoid schizophrenia it is believed Swetye did not know the wrongfulness of his actions.
