LISBON - In Columbiana County Municipal Court on Friday, Travis T. Sadler, 37, Ohio Avenue, Salem, was fined $100 after pleading guilty to disorderly conduct/public intoxication. Sadler was accused of locking his girlfriend out of their apartment and swearing at police and refusing to calm down.
In other court action, David C. Schrack, 19, South Street, East Palestine, pleaded innocent to marijuana possession and possessing an instrument used to ingest or inhale a controlled substance. A pretrial hearing is scheduled for June 6. Schrack was charged by East Palestine following a traffic stop on May 17.
Nick Cosma, 81, state Route 534, Salem, pleaded innocent to charges of phone harassment and criminal trespassing, and a pretrial hearing is scheduled for June 27. Cosma reportedly called Vivian Stokes of Columbiana and then showed up at her home after being told he was to have no contact with her.
James Phelps, 24, North Park Avenue, Lisbon, was fined $200 and sentenced to 16 days in jail after being found guilty of receiving stolen property. Phelps was found in possession of a stolen laptop computer belonging to Adam Newbold.
