Salem 1955 to meet for lunch

SALEM - The Salem High School Class of 1955 will meet for lunch at 11:30 a.m. today at Adele's Place.

SALEM The Salem High School Class of 1945 plans to meet for lunch at noon today at the Salem Hills Golf and Country Club.

SALEM - The Salem High School Class of 1954 will meet for breakfast at 9 a.m. Thursday at the Salem Hills Golf and Country Club.

Fairfield Rotary meetng set

COLUMBIANA - The Fairfield Township Ruritan Club meeting begins at 7 p.m. Thursday at Heck's Restaurant.

Eagles offer acoustic evening

SALEM - An acoustic evening with Nashville recording artist David Wayne will be held from 9 p.m. to midnight Saturday at the Salem Eagles Club, 1884 N. Ellsworth Ave. The kitchen will be open from 8 to 10 p.m.

Mile Branch pulls planned

ALLIANCE - Mile Branch Grange will hold its annual spring truck and tractor pulls on Friday and Saturday on the fairgrounds at 495 Knox School Road, Alliance. The action both nights begins at 7 p.m.

Friday night classes include V-8 6500, 2.6 Diesel NADM, 8500 Non-Turbo, 13500 Farm Stock, 11000 Pro Farm, 17000 Farm Stock, and Street Legal Semis. Friday's admission is $8 for ages 12 and over and $4 for ages 6-11.

Saturday's admission is $10 for ages 12 and over and $5 for ages 6-11. Saturday's classes include Limited Pro Stock 4.1, Super Stock Diesel 4x4 trucks, Heavy Pro Stock, and 7700 Classic Super Stock.

SALEM The Salem High School Class of 1972 will meet for breakfast at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Salem Hills Golf and Country Club.

Food, clothing available

BELOIT - Household items, small appliances, clothing, toys, games and small non-perishable food items will be given away from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Tri County Church of Christ, 18900 U.S. Route 62.

Spaghetti dinner set Saturday

EAST ROCHESTER - The public is invited to an all-you-can-eat spaghetti and meatball dinner from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the New Alexander Christian Church, 7665 Rochester Road. Cost is $7 for adults and $3 for children. Carryouts are available.

Country music jam planned

ROGERS - The public is invited to a country music jam from 6 to 9 p.m. June 2 and 16 at the Rogers Community Auction dining room.

Butler Grange sponsors banquet

SALEM - The Banquet in Salem will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Memorial Building. Next week's meal will be sponsored by members of Butler Grange. The menu offers fried chicken, french fries, corn, salad, peaches and pears, fresh vegetables and fruits, and ice cream sundaes.

SALEM - The Salem High School Class of 1951 will meet for breakfast at 9 a.m. June 5 at the Skyline Diner.

Columbiana 1961 breakfast set

COLUMBIANA - The Columbiana High School Class of 1961 is invited to breakfast at 9:30 a.m. June 8 at the Salem Hills Golf Club.

Middletown Fest scheduled

MIDDLETON TOWNSHIP - The Middleton Township Community Festival is slated from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 8 on the grounds of the Negley Volunteer Fire Department.

Jocko the Clown (Joe Sullivan) will make balloon sculptures for children from 1 to 3 p.m. There will be a bounce house, obstacle course, duck pond, goldfish game, dunk tank, food, local crafters, wildlife educational display, and music by Kenny Beaver of Wellsville. Firemen will demonstrate their recently delivered new squad truck and fire hose. Admission is free.

Concealed carry class offered

SALEM - A concealed carry class will be taught by National Rifle Association instructors at 8 a.m. June 8 at the Salem Hunting Club, 549 Indiana Ave. Pre-registration is required at 330-332-9847 (www.salemhuntingclub.com).

Scrapbooking session set

SALEM - Scrapbooking is the theme for the Getting Crafty class at 6:30 p.m. June 10 in the Quaker Room at the Salem Public Library. Participants may bring photos to add to their creation. Materials will be provided at no cost. Registration is required at 330-332-0042 (www.salem.lib.oh.us).

Swim lessons offered

SALEM - The Salem Community Center will host an American Red Cross Swim Lesson program beginning on June 10 and running Monday through Thursday to June 20. Six Learn to Swim levels are available, along with a Mommy and Me level for infants and their parent. Cost is $70 for non-members and $55 for members. A multiple child discount is available. SALEM - The Salem High School Class of 1967 has scheduled a social/dinner at 6 p.m. June 20 in the private dining room at Ricky's English Pub.

EP 1970s classes reunion set

EAST PALESTINE - The classes of the 1970's of East Palestine High School are invited to a reunion on the weekend of Aug. 9. Pioneer Craft Days planned

LISBON - Friends of Beaver Creek State Park is planning the 36th annual Pioneer Craft Days celebration on Oct. 5 and 6 at Pioneer Village. Crafters and demonstrators are being sought for this event and the group is also searching for antique farm equipment displays. Goshen trustees to meet
