Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cozza of 32312 S. Lane, Guilford Lake, Hanoverton, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary.
The couple is celebrating with an open house and dance from 7 to 10 p.m. June 28 at the Cozza home. The event is being hosted by their sons and their spouses.
Mr. and Mrs. Cozza will entertain family on June 29 at the Salem Golf Club for renewal of vows, dinner and dancing. There will also be a Sunday brunch held in the couple's honor at the lake home of their son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Sheri Cozza. This will be hosted by the Hovanic family. Both of these events are for family members.
The former Mary Alice Gause and Mr. Cozza were married on June 15, 1963, by Father William Appell at the St. Phillip Neri Parish in Dungannon.
Mr. Cozza worked as a quality engineer at TRW/PCC until he retired in 1994.
Mrs. Cozza retired in 2000 from Salem High School after 33 years of being a family living teacher.
The couple currently serves on the Mercedes-Benz Club of America, Mr. Cozza as the Great Lakes regional director and national events chairman and Mrs. Cozza as the national secretary, where they also teach a defensive driving class throughout the United States and Canada. Mr. and Mrs. Cozza are both members of St. George Catholic Church in Lisbon.
The Cozzas have three children, Craig (Sheri) of Pittsburgh, Matthew (Kim) of Yorktown Heights, N.Y., and Frank (Sandra) of San Diego. They also have seven grandchildren.
