- Brandon F. Parkey, 30, Wisner Road, Hanoverton, was cited for failure to control Thursday after his eastbound Jeep went off state Route 172, striking two trees. He was transported to Salem Community Hospital by Minerva EMS.

- An unidentified driver had stopped eastbound on state Route 14 to make a left turn when a vehicle driven by Deborah S. Ferencik, 62, Rochester, Pa., stopped behind him. A third eastbound vehicle came up behind them, went left of center, over-corrected, then struck Ferencik's vehicle before going off the right side of the road and leaving the scene with the driver unidentified. The vehicle's owner, Janet L. Powell, Kelly Park Road, Columbiana, reported William Cunning, 36, Rogers, was driving at the time, but neither her vehicle nor Cunning were there when troopers went to speak to Powell.

- Dina S. Miller, 29, Youngstown, was southbound on state Route 11 when she drove off the left side of the roadway, through the median, across both northbound lanes and struck an embankment. She was cited for failure to control.

- Shayne R. McCowin, 37, Neeld Road, East Palestine, was cited for assured clear distance after his vehicle reportedly struck the rear of another driven by Christopher N. Cope, 23, Bacon Avenue, East Palestine. Both were northbound on state Route 7 when Cope slowed to turn onto Grant Street and was struck.

- While westbound on state Route 14, a vehicle driven by Vickie L. Pasquinelli, 49, Whinnery Road, Salem, was struck a vehicle driven by Virginia E. Lanterman, 74, Garfield Road, Salem, who was making a left turn from a private drive. Lanterman was cited for failure to yield.

- While southbound on state Route 7, Raymond L. Barker, 40, Beaver Falls, Pa., drove off the right side of the roadway, striking a guardrail. He was cited for failure to control.
