Top students honored at Western Reserve banquet

Seventeen Western Reserve High School students were recognized for outstanding academic achievement recently at A La Carte Catering. The Academic Banquet, sponsored by the Berlin-Ellsworth Ruritan Club, honored 12 seniors having a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Five juniors and sophomores were recognized for having a cumulative grade point average of 4.0. Each of the seniors invited a special guest to speak on their behalf as part of the evening's festivities. Along with parents and family of the students, the banquet was attended by school administrators, members of the board of education, and Ruritan members.
