- A state Route 7, Lisbon, woman reported at 1:55 p.m. Monday she had been in her bathroom about 20 minutes earlier when her brother began yelling at her about the dishes not being done and then punched her in the face. She went to say something else and he reportedly slammed her head on the floor. Statements were taken from the woman and two others. Her brother left the house before deputies arrived.

- A 10th Street Extension, Wellsville, resident reported at 8:44 a.m. Monday someone called asking about her retirement accounts on June 7 and set up an appointment with her on June 10. The woman came to her home and requested her Social Security number and AARP number to set up an annuity account with her company, Seniors First. After receiving both numbers, the woman asked for $10,000 to start the process. At that point, the resident asked her to leave. Deputies called a telephone number given by the woman, which was picked up by an answering machine with several different extensions.

- A Whinnery Road, Hanoverton, man reported at 3:15 a.m. Sunday his son told him his girlfriend was at a drinking party on state Route 154, became violent with him and he left the party on foot. His children remained at the party with their mother. Deputies checked on the girlfriend and the children, who were tucked in asleep.

- A Yeager Drive, Wellsville, woman reported at 1:15 a.m. Sunday her 11-year-old grandson called her and told her his mother had been drinking and pushed him. The boy said his mother is going through alcohol rehabilitation, but had been out drinking. She reportedly argued with him because she believed he was giving her an attitude. She followed him into the bathroom, picked him up by his neck and threw him down causing him to hit his head on the toilet. His mother denied the allegations. The boy elected to stay at his grandparents' house for the night.

- A Bayard Road, Minerva, woman reported at 12:05 a.m. Saturday there was a loud noise keeping her awake. Deputies checked the area, but heard nothing.

- Deputies checked on a couple at a Bentwood Road, New Waterford home at 12:22 a.m. Friday at the request of a caller. A woman there claimed she and her boyfriend had been arguing and she was acting out of control so he grabbed her wrists to calm her down. The boyfriend explained the woman is bipolar and was striking herself so he stopped her.

- A Crews Road, Wellsville, woman reported at 7:44 p.m. Sunday her brother has been stealing from the family to support his drug habit and on Sunday took her debit card. He returned it when she confronted him, but she wanted the incident on file in case he refuses to stop.

- An Iowa Street, Wellsville, woman reported at 7:55 p.m. Sunday her neighbors have been racing up and down the road in their vehicles, a large monster type truck and a large flat bed truck.

- A Georgetown Road, Homeworth, woman reported at 8:57 p.m. Saturday her 17-year-old son has been in a lot of trouble recently, has not been taking his medication and has court dates in Mahoning and Stark County courts this week. On Saturday he and his girlfriend were arguing in the house and he kicked over a fish tank near his 3-month-old child. Police spoke with the boy, who seemed respectful and calm at the time. He was holding his child and told deputies there would be no more problems.

- A state Route 45, Lisbon, man reported at 5:09 p.m. Sunday sometime between 8 p.m. Saturday and 9:45 a.m. Sunday someone stole items out of his vehicle.

- Deputies were called to a home on McCormick Run Road, Lisbon at 10:27 p.m. Saturday where a man was reportedly threatening to harm himself. Deputies found a man walking down the road with a small caliber handgun. When they approached he threw it down and told them he did not want to go on anymore. He was transported to Salem Community Hospital and the handgun was given to a relative for safekeeping.

- A North Lincoln Avenue, Salem, woman reported at 6:58 p.m. Saturday she misplaced her medications, possibly leaving them at the Y Inn in Rogers.

- A Bowman Road, Homeworth, man reported at 9:40 p.m. Friday sometime in the past five days someone entered the side door at the house, stealing a Craftsman 20-inch lawnmower and a hand-held rototiller.

- A McDonald, Pa., man reported at 8:26 p.m. Friday sometime in the past week someone stole a 12-volt Sears battery charger and a D cell battery from his storage shed at Paradise Lake.

- A Georgetown Road, Salem, man reported at 6:22 p.m. Friday someone was shooting in the woods at the Timashamie Campground. He reported seeing a man in jeans and a hoodie with a camo backpack in the woods shooting with a small handgun. Deputies found a man, who lives beside the campground who told deputies he was shooting into a secure backstop.

- A Lisa Lane, Lisbon, woman reported at 3:26 p.m. Sunday her ex-boyfriend was sending messages on Facebook, claiming he has a new toy and wants to use it. She believes he means a gun. He also reportedly told her he hopes the brakes go out in her car.
