BELOIT - Bernard H. Frank, 94, of Beloit, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 1:30 a.m. at Canterbury Villa of Alliance.
Born on June 9, 1919 in Alliance, He was raised on the family farm in Maximo and lived in this area for all of his life.
He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Sebring. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus, Council #558.
He retired from the Transue & Williams Stamping Plant, where he was employed as a Die Setter after 43 years of service. He was a member of Boilers Makers Local Union # 1622. He was a founding member of the committee which started the T&W Credit Union.
In his past-time, he enjoyed his farm, gardening and construction work.
Survivors include his wife, Helen M. (Haessly) Frank, whom he married on April 15, 1950; one granddaughter, Kimberly Begley of Powell, Ohio; and one great-grandson, Dean Begley of Powell, Ohio. He is also survived by his siblings, Richard Frank of Alliance, Sr. Helen Mary of Richfield, Ohio, Catherine Skolosh of Homeworth, Paul (Florence) Frank of Alliance, Harold (Judy) Frank of Homeworth, Vivian (Don) Krabill of Alliance, and Marlene (Jesse) Smith of Alliance; sisters-in-law, Joyce Frank of Alliance and Mary Frank of Alliance; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death was a daughter, Kathleene Howard in 2003; his parents, Otto and Marie (Gulling) Frank; his siblings, Edward (Mildred) Frank, Rita (Bill) Resh, Arthur Frank, Margaret (Virgil) Brown, Robert H. Frank; a sister-in-law, Pauline Frank, and a brother-in-law, John Skolosh.
The family will receive friends at St. Ann Catholic Church on Saturday, June 22, 2013 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Joseph Witmer as celebrant. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
