SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Albert A. Doyle, 72, passed away on July 17, 2012, at Sutter Memorial Hospital in Sacramento, Calif.
He was born April 27, 1940, in Salem.
Al graduated from Salem High in 1958. He also graduated from Ohio State University in 1964 with a degree in civil engineering and moved to Sacramento where went to work for the state as a water quality control engineer working to keep various corporations in compliance with state regulations. He later became a consultant working with industry, county, and cities on compliance and design of facilities to meet California regulations. He became a highly respected engineer in California.
He was preceded by his parents Harvey Doyle Jr. and Schurvyl Spencer Doyle; and an infant sister, Nancy Lee Doyle.
Al is survived by his daughter, Lucinda (James) Kasza of Cedar Park, Texas; a son, Marcus (Tiffany) Doyle of Sacramento; grandchildren, Caroline, Jonah and Jonathan Kasza of Cedar Park, and Kiera Doyle of Sacramento; a brother, Harvey (Nancy) Doyle of Blairsville, Pa.; sisters Ruth Nennig and Christina (David) Texter , and Aunt Yetta Doyle, all of Salem; also nieces, nephews and many cousins in the Salem area and in other states.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 6, in the chapel at Grandview Cemetery in Salem.
