LISBON - In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a July 8 preliminary hearing was set for Mary A. Johnson, 43, last known address Fairfield School Road, Columbiana, charged with receiving stolen property. According to court documents, Johnson visited her father at the Vista Center in Lisbon and told him she was going to take his guns and valuables for safekeeping while he was there. She then allegedly sold his guns to Buckeye Firearms on May 9.
A July 9 preliminary hearing was set for Robert L. Harmony, 45, East Fourth Street, Salem, charged with domestic violence when he reportedly has a previous domestic violence conviction from 2009.
John W. Burke, 53, West Spruce Street, Lisbon, was bound over to the county grand jury on an OVI fourth offense citation.
Chad R. Raymond, 24, Steward Road, Salem, was fined $1,175, had his license suspended one year, was credited with nine days served in jail with one to serve and required 25 hours community service for OVI second offense, failure to reinstate a license and failure to control.
Dustin D. Seaver, 22, Clinton, was fined $675, sentenced to three days in jail and had his license suspended for 180 days for OVI first offense and broken windshield.
Howard A. Lightner, 32, Foundry Hill Road, Salineville, was fined $300 and credited with 44 days in jail served for drug possession and drug paraphernalia for a hypodermic needle and 30 tablets of generic xanax. He was ordered to begin serving the balance of a 180 day jail sentence immediately from a previous conviction of receiving stolen property after a stolen grandfather clock was found in his apartment last fall.
Julie H. Cutlip, 23, Canton, was fined $250, had her license suspended for 180 days and was sentenced to an additional 28 days in jail with credit for two served for drug paraphernalia. She reportedly had a hypodermic needle and a spoon with white residue in her possession on Friday.
Jonathan M. Weaver, 25, Pinewood Drive, New Waterford, was fined $250 and credited with eight days served for domestic violence for punching his live-in girlfriend in the head on June 23.
Jessie K. Jenkins, 57, East Third Street, Salem, was fined $200 and credited with two days in jail served for theft after she attempted to shoplift $24 in merchandise from the Salem Sparkle on April 26.
Robert Moore, 24, North Benton Road, Salem, was fined $200 and credited with one day in jail with another 119 to serve for criminal damaging, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. According to court documents, Moore on June 2 went to a home on Hazel Run Road, Salineville, and threw a log through a home's window. He then ran from deputies, forcing them to shoot him with a taser twice. Additionally, he reportedly struggled, spit and threatened deputies until he was sedated at East Liverpool City Hospital.
Frederick C. Hennan Sr., 54, North Elm Street, Columbiana, was fined $150 for disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence. Hennan reportedly grabbed his live-in girlfriend by the back of the neck, threw her across the room, grabbed her by the hair and the throat and threatened her when she wanted to leave on Nov. 13, 2004.
Kathleen R. Shasteen Dearth, 20, state Route 518, Lisbon, fined $150 and required 20 hours community service for disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence. According to court documents, Dearth shoved William E. Oiler Jr. into a wall in the house, kicked in the window to the front door which struck him in the arm, kicked him and punched him on June 24.
Oiler, 33, state Route 518, Lisbon, was fined $300, had his license suspended for 180 days and was required 20 hours community service for drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence. Oiler reportedly struck Dearth several times, pushed her off the wall and off a vehicle in the driveway. He also reportedly had a grinder in his back pocket.
Michael J. Martin Jr., 26, Mahoning Avenue, Alliance, was credited with two days in jail served and fined $150 for disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence. Court documents state Martin threw his girlfriend, Billie Jean Presley, around and held her against her will before pushing his sister, who had tried to stop him on June 24.
Alex J. Vanhorn, 18, South Vine Street, Columbiana, was fined $150 and had his license suspended for 180 days for marijuana paraphernalia.
Shawn A. Myers, 37, Bye Road, East Palestine, was fined $150 for no license amended from driving under suspension.
Christopher Bosworth, 26, New Brighton, Pa., was fined $100 for open container.
Desiree L. Ingledue, 18, North Lincoln Avenue, Salem, was fined $100 and required 24 hours community service for no license amended from temporary instruction permit required.
Tyler Michaels-Lee Stokes, 19, West Pershing Street, Salem, was fined $80 for no motorcycle endorsement and no helmet.
Alonzo Gaspar Simon, 31, Axe Road, Alliance, was fined $50 for no license.
An Aug. 1 pretrial was set for Lori A. Tuttle, 41, Monroeville Heights, Salineville, charged with domestic violence for allegedly assaulting her husband, Louis Tuttle, by striking him in the chest and scratching his neck and chest on Wednesday.
An Aug. 1 pretrial was set for Carol A. Gilmore, 50, East Washington Street, Lisbon, cited with disorderly conduct for allegedly coming into the Steel Trolley Diner intoxicated on Sunday, throwing food at the waitress, cussing and swearing at other customers and refusing to cooperate with police when they arrived.
An Aug. 5 pretrial was set for Randal L. Pitts, 51, Smith Road, Summitville, charged with assault for allegedly striking his nephew Michael Shane Pitts, 21, state Route 644, Summitville, several times after Michael Pitts reportedly pushed Randal Pitts' 74-year-old mother off the porch. Michael Pitts pleaded no contest to assault for the fight with his uncle and a sentencing hearing was set for Aug. 5.
An Aug. 8 pretrial was set for Jessi L. Roberts, 34, Tower Road, Salem, charged with domestic violence for allegedly punching her husband, Steve Roberts, in the left eye.
An Aug. 29 pretrial was set for Aaron D. Black, 35, Lisbon Dungannon Road, Lisbon, charged with OVI first offense and slow speed.
