SALEM - The Salem High School Class of 1963 plans to meet for lunch at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Salem Hills Golf and Country Club.
Country music jam set at Rogers Auction
ROGERS -The public is invited to a country music jam from 6 to 9 p.m. July 7 and 21 at the Rogers Community Auction dining room.
Beaver Local BOE to meet Monday
LISBON The Beaver Local Board of Education will meet in regular session at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the high school media center.
Concert planned at Walborn Reservoir
ALLIANCE - Stark Parks is sponsoring its first ever Big Band concert from 6:30 to 8 p.m. July 9 at Walborn Reservoir Marina, 11324 Price St. NE. No reservations are required for the free concert, but guests should bring their own chair or blanket and binoculars for viewing the wide variety of water fowl that frequent the area. In the event of rain, the performance will be canceled.
The concert will be presented by the Musical Memories Orchestra, a group of 20 volunteer musicians ages 25-85 and playing the saxophone, trombone, trumpet, drums, bass guitar and keyboard.
Picnic tables beside the Walborn Marina will be available prior to the concert. Guests can bring their own picnic or purchase food and beverages from the marina.
Blood drive set at Salem Hospital
SALEM - An American Red Cross blood drive is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 10 in Salem Community Hospital's second floor classrooms. Individuals who have not given blood since May 15 are eligible to donate. Donors will be entered in a prize drawing. Appointments may be made by calling 330-332-7227. Walk-ins will also be accepted.
County Genealogical Society to meet
LISBON -The Columbiana County Genealogical Society will meet for a research session at 6 p.m. July 10 at the Columbiana County Archives and Research Center located at 129 S. Market St. Non-members and guests are welcome.
Peddler's Days set in Hanoverton July 12-14
HANOVERTON - Hanoverton will host its Peddler's Days on July 12, 13 and 14 featuring a Civil War Living history, along with a possible skirmish depending on the number of participants.

COLUMBIANA - The Columbiana High School Class of 1961 plans to meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. July 13 at the Smokehouse restaurant.
Beaver Local 1968 sets 45th reunion
LISBON - The Beaver Local High School Class of 1968 will hold its 45th class reunion on July 27 at the East Liverpool Country Club. Grande Parade applications accepted
SALEM - The Grande Parade steps out at 6 p.m. Aug. 10 in conjunction with the Salem I'Fest "Celebrating Your Heritage" festival. The line-up forms on North Union and Highland Avenue and the parade steps off from the intersection of East State Street and North Union and proceeds through the downtown business district. At Ellsworth Avenue, the parade units will turn north and disband at the Second Street Plaza.
Applications have been mailed to previous parade entries but all are welcome. Applications are now available by calling the Salem Area Chamber of Commerce at 330-337-3473 or by downloading an application online at www.salemohiochamber.org.
WB Hall golf tourney scheduled July 20
BELOIT- The West Branch Hall of Fame Golf Tournament will be held Saturday, July 20, at the Westville Lake Golf Course. Check-in with doughnuts and coffee will begin at 7:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. Lunch and prizes will be held following tournament.
The tournament is a four-person scramble. Cost is $50 per person or $200 per team and includes breakfast, lunch, beverages, 18 holes of golf, prize money and more. Make checks payable to West Branch Alumni Association. Deadline for registration is July 12.
