Salem Elks Lodge #305 will hold its 12th annual poker run to benefit cerebral palsy on Sunday, July 21. Registration begins at 9 a.m. in the Elk's grill room at 824 E. State St. The bikes (and cars) will leave at 11 a.m. A haystack breakfast will also be held from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the lodge. Seated on the motorcycle is Paetyn Howell, 12-and-a-half-years-old, who has cerebral palsy and is the "Poker Run Sweetheart." She has been featured in Salem Elks Lodge #305 poker run promotions for years.
