SHERIFF'S OFFICE

July 13, 2013
Salem News

- Deputies went to a state Route 45, Salem home at 2 a.m. Friday for a report of domestic violence. A resident reported his girlfriend came home drunk and began to tear the apartment apart and at one point took a large kitchen knife and threatened him with it, at which point he left and called police. The man told deputies he believed he heard her pants rip as he left and was concerned she may have cut herself. Deputies checked the home but did not find her there. He did not wish to file charges.
