LAKE MILTON - Memorial services celebrating the life of Joanne Robinson, 80, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Lane Family Funeral Home Austintown Chapel.

Joanne was born Aug. 29, 1932, in Akron, the daughter of Clarence and Mary (Harris) Sexton.

She graduated from Jackson Milton High School in 1950 and had formerly worked at General Motors in Lordstown. She was a former member of the First Federated Church in North Jackson. Joanne loved to country line dance, quilt, do crafts and bowl. She also loved the Canfield Fair, camping there with family and friends for many years.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter Terry (Ray) Gatrell of Salem and son Tracy (Debbie) Sinn of Berlin Center, grandchildren, Adele Schisler, Matthew and Corey Sinn, and great-grandchildren, McKenna Schisler, Milaena Sinn, Caleb Sinn, Kylee Sinn and Baylie Sinn.

Joanne was preceded in death by her husband, James Robinson, whom she married Sept. 22, 1976, and who died Feb. 11, 2010; brothers, William, Robert, Clarence, Howard Sexton; and sister, Nancy Bingham.

Family and friends may call from noon until time of services Friday at the funeral home.

The family request that memorial contributions be made to Circle of Care Nursing Center in Salem.
