- A state Route 9, Salem, woman reported there was a possible intruder in the house at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday. A deputy arrived and met with the keyholder and they checked the home and found it to be secure.

- A woman called at 4:42 a.m. Wednesday in regard to suspicious people on Leslie Road near the Beaver Creek State Park campground. A deputy checked Leslie Road, as well as nearby Echo Dell, Carlisle and Sprucevale roads, and the campground, but did not come across anyone.

- Sophie Grubb, who works at the group home on Beard Road, New Waterford, reported there was an unruly female resident at the home at 8:31 p.m. Tuesday. Grubb said the woman tried to bite her on the arm but did not succeed. The resident had quit taking her medication and agreed to be transported by ambulance to a local hospital.

- James Morris from Ohio Pet Foods, located in the Lisbon Industrial Park off state Route 45, reported Tuesday it appears a squatter had been living in one of their storage trailers after finding a cardboard shelter and sleeping bags inside. This has also coincided with the recent disappearance of small scrap metal from the property.

- A Y & O Road, Madison Township, woman reported Tuesday her teen-age nephew had run away and she believed he was at a St. Clair Township residence, but he was not found there.

- A deputy was called to a neighbor dispute at the apartment of Anthony Lopshanskay, West Main Street, New Waterford, at 12:18 a.m. Wednesday. Lopshanskay reported the neighbors were pounding on the walls, yelling and making comments about how they could snap and kill him. The neighbors, Christina and James Hooker, claimed it was the Lopshanskay who were pounding on the walls, yelling and issuing threats. The parties were advised to leave each other alone.

- A Conkle Road, Salem, man reported Tuesday an ATV was stolen from his property.

- A McCracken Road, Salem, woman reported Tuesday $27 and 70 percocet pills were stolen from her property.

- Timothy Adkins of Coal City, W.Va, reported Tuesday his prescription of hydrocondone pills was stolen from his girlfriend's home on Grant Street, Lisbon.

- David Zouck, Kirk Road, Columbiana, reported Monday being involved in a property line dispute with his neighbor, who keeps mowing a narrow 300-foot long strip of grass on his property. Zouck said he is letting the strip grow but his neighbor keeps mowing it. Before the deputy could call they received a call from the neighbor, Kristyne Kordes, about Zouck engaging in unsafe target shooting. The deputy determined Zouck had set up a safe shooting site and that his range faced in a different direction than the Kordes property. Zouck agreed to cease target shooting for a while until things calmed down.

- Bo and Megan Neville, Fairfield School Road, Lisbon, reported about 9 a.m. Monday their neighbor's cattle keep getting loose and wandering into their corn and hay fields. The deputy advised the neighbor, Dennis Rhodes, who lives on state Route 154, who said the Nevilles cross his property to get into the fields and he intends to send them a letter instructing them to cease trespassing.

- Tanya McLaughlin was driving by Tucker Equipment, state Route 45, Madison Township, at 9:13 p.m. Tuesday when she noticed lights on in some of the trucks and contacted the Tucker family. Several of the trucks had been ransacked and it was not known if anything had been stolen.

- Dan Baker of Baker Towing reported Monday Tracy L. Skiba, state Route 9, Hanoverton asked him to tow her car after it "bumped" into a large rock in front of the Guilford Lake Grille after she left the restaurant the night before. Baker said the car sustained heavy damage and appeared to be totaled.

- A state Route 7, New Waterford, woman reported Monday she and her soon-to-be ex-husband were in the middle of a property dispute. She was advised the issue needed to be taken up with their attorneys.
