Hump flattened on SR 165

August 20, 2013
Salem News

Green Township officials were concerned about a hump in the eastbound lane in the 9000 block of state Route 165 on Graham Hill. Trustee George Toy and Fire Chief Todd Baird both mentioned it during the July trustee meeting. Baird said it threw vehicles toward the other lane. It was approximately seven-tenths of a mile east of U.S. Route 62. The heavily-traveled road was recently repaved and last week the Ohio Department of Transportation District 4 had the hump, which was barely visible but could be felt, ground down and flattened out. The section of road is shown after ODOT had it smoothed out. (Salem News photo by Larry Shields)
