-Police responded to the 400 block of Fair Avenue at 6:27 a.m. Sunday where the complainant advised a wicker chair was stolen from the porch overnight.

-Police responded to the 100 block of West Pershing Street at 12:04 a.m. Sunday after observing a large amount of smoke from a cookout fire and the resident put it out.

-Police responded to the 1200 block of North Ellsworth Avenue at 11:36 p.m. Saturday for a report of two suspicious people but were unable to find anyone.

-Police responded to the 800 block of South Lincoln Avenue at 11:10 p.m. and the 100 block of West Fifth Street at 11:26 p.m. and assisted residents in removing bats from the residences.

-Police responded to the 800 block of Jennings Avenue at 9:10 p.m. Saturday where the complainant advised that two personal checks were taken from her checkbook. She was advised to contact her bank.

-Police responded to the 200 block of South Howard Avenue at 8:47 p.m. Saturday where the complainant advised that her juvenile son stole money and a credit card from her purse. He admitted it to an officer and was taken into custody and released to his mother.

-At 7:40 p.m. Saturday, police left a red warning tag on a residence in the 1200 block of East Third Street for barking dogs.

-Police received an anonymous call at 5;12 p.m. Saturday that provided information regarding an ongoing issue with a person known to the caller.

-Police responded to the 100 block of West Pershing Street at 4:14 p.m. Saturday where the complainant advised that a known man was following him and trying to cause a problem. The complainant wanted it documented.

-Police responded to the 500 block of East Fourth Street at 12:43 p.m. Saturday where the complainant advised her apartment was entered and her checkbook taken. She was advised of her options.
