LISBON - The David Anderson High School Class of 1963, and any other classes of DAHS, are invited to a bonfire at 6:30 p.m. Friday at the home of Dick Zitto, 123 N. Cross St.

All classes of the 60's are invited DAHS Class of 1963's annual picnic at 2 p.m. Sept. 15 at the party barn, 15210 W. Pine Lake Road, Salem. The meat is provided. Attendees are to bring a coverdish. For information call 330-550-3652.

Tri-County Opry's Sept. 21 show set at Roxy Theater

MINERVA - The Tri-County Opry's Sept. 21 show at The Roxy Theater kicks off at 7 p.m. with live country music. The featured band is Hot Cargo. Other special guests include Jason Mikes, Jill Jordan Burke, Donna Kandel, Tom Freeland and Amy Hill Fankhouser. Hot Cargo is a classic country band comprised of Danny Hipes on steel guitar, John Burns (originally from Wellsville) on guitar and vocals, Billy Shively on drums, Dave Webb on keyboard, Chuck Huffman (originally from East Liverpool) on guitar, bass and vocals. They are all seasoned musicians and have played together for more than 30 years. The Roxy is located at 114 N. Market St. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $7 for ages 10 and over. Harvest Fest, Craft Show set at White House Fruit Farm

CANFIELD - White House Fruit Farm on U.S. Route 62 will host its 31st annual Harvest Festival and Craft Show from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 21 and noon to 5 p.m. Sept. 22. The large craft show features artisans and additional outdoor events include horse-drawn wagon rides through the orchards, food, fall candy and activities for the children.

The weekend also marks the opening of the farm's popular pumpkin pavilion with a pumpkin painter. "Most people come for the food," said White House owner Debbie Pifer. "There will be plenty of fall favorites, including fresh apples and cider, both inside the market and on the grounds." Fall hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. Additional information is available at whitehousefruitfarm.com.

Remove summer flowers at Grandview, Hope cemeteries

SALEM - Oct. 1 is the deadline to remove summer flowers from graves at Grandview and Hope cemeteries. Flowers not removed will be discarded.

South Range school board

to meet in executive session

BEAVER TOWNSHIP- The South Range Local Board of Education will meet in executive session at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the board offices for the purpose of discussing negotiations with employee bargaining units.

Genoswka team to discuss

Bigfoot at Leetonia Library

LEETONIA- Dan Baker and members of the Genoswka research team are returning to the Leetonia Community Public Library for an encore performance of their Bigfoot presentation at 1 p.m. Oct. 26. Registration is required by calling 330-427-6635 to insure that those who missed out the first time will have a chance to attend. Also at noon the same day, Rite Aid Pharmacy associates will be giving flu shots to anyone ages 14 and older. It is free for anyone on Medicare or Medicaid, and $29.99 all others.
