SEBRING - Bette L. Meir, 65, of Sebring died Monday at her home.
She was born in Alliance on March 12, 1948, the daughter of the late Woodrow and Helen J. (Ring) Rhoads.
She worked as a beautician in Alliance for many years also for Hanger Orthotics and Prosthetics in Alliance and Canton as well as the Stark County Humane Society.
Survivors include her son, George Bryan Miller of North Carolina; a daughter, Dawn (SSG, USMC Shane) Merrick of North Carolina; six grandchildren, and one great granddaughter. She is also survived by two sisters, Mary Jo Cunningham and Kim Danner, both of Alliance. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a twin sister, Bonne S. Stauffeneger
A Time of Sharing will be held at 5p.m. Friday at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home. Friends may call from 4 to 5 p.m. before the service at the funeral home.
