Linda Jean “Jeanie” Moore

NEGLEY - Linda Jean "Jeanie" Moore, 57, of Chamberlain Street, died early Wednesday morning at her residence.

Born July 17, 1956, in Canton, she was the daughter of Hazel Marie Merrill Young and the late Lewis Wesley Icenhower.

Mrs. Moore had worked most recently as a bar maid at The Ivy Stone Lounge in Lisbon.

Besides her mother of Midland, Pa., she is also survived by two sons, Lewis David "Keith" Icenhower of Negley and Andrew James Shafer of Salem; a daughter, Amanda Marie Shafer of Darlington, Pa.; five grandchildren; three brothers, David E. Icenhower of Ohio and Rickey D. Young and Carl B. "Youngin" Young, both of Midland, Pa.; and three sisters, Barbara Ours and Shirley Wooley, both of Midland, and Carla Young of Calcutta.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at the Oliver-Linsley Funeral Home (www.oliver-linsley.com) in East Palestine.

Friends are invited to a luncheon from noon to 1:30 p.m. Friday at the home of Amanda Shafer, 187 Taggart Road, Darlington, Pa.

Mrs. Moore's funeral service begins at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Pastor Mark Plegge of Abundant Life Fellowship Church officiating. Burial will follow in Crest Haven Memorial Gardens in New Waterford.
