LISBON - In Columbiana County Municipal Court, Dirk S. Weston, 50, state Route 164, Lisbon, was bound over to the Columbiana County grand jury on a burglary charge. Weston is accused of scrapping items in the garage of Richard Chapman, while Chapman and his wife were inside the house on Sept. 5. Bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety.

A Sept. 16 preliminary hearing was set for Stefan L. White, 30, Ninth Street, Wellsville, charged with possession of a controlled substance for allegedly having less than five grams of cocaine in his bedroom when the Columbiana County Drug Task Force searched his home on Wednesday.

Scott A. McKinnon, 52, Riverside Avenue, Wellsville, was ordered to perform 30 hours community service and credited with eight days served in jail for aggravated trespassing and criminal damaging for breaking the lattice work on an 84-year-old woman's porch while attempting to get inside.

Charitey A. Riggs, 19, Lower Elkton Road, Columbiana, was sentenced to 90 days in jail for theft and criminal trespassing with credit granted for 16 days already served. Riggs was found inside an East Fourth Street, Salem, apartment on July 5. On June 15, she reportedly was shoplifting in the Giant Eagle in Salem, taking items valued at $105.

Travis R. Culler, 25, Main Street, Washingtonville, was fined $160 for speeding, seat belt violation and no license amended from driving under FRA suspension.

Darby S. McCoy, 44, Canton, was fined $200 for a license plate violation amended from speeding and no license amended from driving under OVI suspension.

William R. Halligan, 47, state Route 45, Lisbon, was fined $150 for no license.

Perry Henry Bayley III, 77, Millerburg, was fined $150 for expired license plate and no license amended from driving under suspension.

Charles Kent Landers, 36, Houston, Texas, was fined $150 for lighted lights required amended from commercial speeding.

Christopher J. Weist, 21, Aurora, was fined $150 for lighted lights required amended from speeding.

Jordan L. Meltzer, 27, Depot Road, Lisbon, was fined $150, credited with one day in jail served and required 40 hours community service for disorderly conduct for allegedly screaming and being belligerent at 11:37 p.m. May 18 on Franklin Avenue in Salem.

Lisa J. Krepps, 34, East Summit Street, Alliance, was fined $100.

A theft charge against Mathew C. Ward, 25, Michigan Avenue, East Liverpool, was dismissed due to a misidentification. Ward had been accused of taking a DVD player from the Salem Walmart electronics department and then returning it for cash without purchasing it.

A Sept. 16 pretrial was set for Aaron M. Pierson, 23, Monroeville Heights, Salineville, cited with drug paraphernalia for allegedly having two syringes in his pockets when he was found running through a backyard away from where U.S. Marshals served a warrant at a 14th Street, Wellsville, home on Wednesday.

A Sept. 23 pretrial was set for Tamara M. Thomas, 36, Oakwood Drive, Beloit, cited with driving under suspension.

A Sept. 26 pretrial was set for Stephen W. Bell, 27, charged with domestic violence for allegedly slamming a woman to the floor and hit her about the arms and neck at a Union Street, Washingtonville home on Feb. 19.

A Sept. 26 pretrial was set for Shawn M. Cunningham, 25, 14th Street, Wellsville, charged with theft for allegedly breaking into a car on Fourth Street taking $21 on Wednesday.

An Oct. 8 pretrial was set for Eric D. Ross, 46, Youngstown, cited with failure to control.

An Oct. 17 pretrial was set for Trina C. Cornett, 28, last known address Fairview Drive, Minerva, charged with domestic violence for allegedly assaulting her mother after tearing the screen from the door to get inside the house. Cornett reportedly grabbed her mother by the throat and threw her against the living room wall.

An Oct. 17 pretrial was set for Gary Lee Woolmaker, 52, Cannons Mill Road, East Liverpool, charged with driving under 12-point suspension and traffic control devices.

An Oct. 17 pretrial was set for John D. Gbur, 45, Park Avenue, Salem, cited with disorderly conduct for allegedly being intoxicated shortly after midnight Thursday, yelling profanities and refusing to comply with request from Salem police to cease.

An Oct. 21 pretrial was set for Louis R. Reynolds, 31, Girard, cited with commercial speeding.

An Oct. 31 pretrial was set for Raymond F. Steffen, 68, Shaker Court, Salem, cited with OVI first offense and marked lanes.

A Nov. 4 pretrial was set for Robert B. Grossen, 41, Garfield Road, Petersburg, cited with driving under FRA suspension.

A Nov. 7 pretrial was set for Zachary A. Kenst, 20, North Ellsworth Avenue, Salem, cited with driving under FRA suspension and marked lanes.
