LISBON - In Columbiana County Municipal Court on Monday, Christy S. Keglor, 39, Fair Avenue, Salem, was fined $200, required 30 hours community service and sentenced to 10 days in jail for theft for shoplifting $83 in merchandise from Walmart on Aug. 15.
Jackie M. Giovenco-Brown, 35, Steubenville Pike, Lisbon, was fined $250, had her license suspended for four months, was sentenced to three days in jail and required 30 hours of community service for reckless operation amended from OVI first offense. A failure to control citation was dismissed.
James M. Austin, 21, Massillon, was fined $200 and had his license suspended for 180 days for possession of marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia.
Russell A. Rogers, 32, East Clark Street, East Palestine, was fined $150, required 40 hours community service and credited 11 days served in jail for assault for shoving Sally Lewis over her coffee table on April 22, 2011.
Brian S. Sutton, 32, Riley Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $130 and required 10 hours community service for driving under suspension and a seatbelt violation.
Kevin Zimmerly, 51, North Broadway, Salem, was fined $100 and had his license suspended for 180 days for marijuana paraphernalia for a package of rolling papers.
A Sept. 26 pretrial was set for Eric L. Bemish, Main Street, Hanoverton, charged with disorderly conduct while intoxicated and resisting arrest for allegedly lying in the middle of the road in Hanoverton screaming on Saturday.
A Sept. 30 pretrial was set for Travis S. Rhodes, 22, Echo Dell Road, East Liverpool, charged with possession of drugs and assault for allegedly punching Angela Tondo in the nose, fracturing it on Sept. 14. The drugs charge was due to a small baggie of suspected valium reportedly found in his pocket on Saturday, when he was taken into custody on a warrant.
A Sept. 30 pretrial was set for Korie R. Ball, 23, West Middletown Road, Salem, cited with obstructing official business for allegedly giving a false name, Bonnie Streeter, as the driver of a vehicle involved in a hit skip crash.
A Nov. 4 pretrial was set for Paul Edward Esenwein Jr., cited with turn signal violation, marked lanes and drug paraphernalia for a digital scale with possible heroin residue found in his vehicle and detected by Beaver Township's canine.
A Nov. 14 pretrial was set for Todd R. Stoffel, 37, state Route 45, Wellsville, cited with criminal damaging for allegedly throwing a glass cup at the driver side door of Bryant Nestor's vehicle.
