Melanie Drake and Benjamin Citino were united in marriage at sunset July 24 on the beach in Marco Island, Fla. In addition to the couple's children, Drake and Grant Dorsey of Dublin, Ohio, and Isabella and Nicholas Citino of Baltimore, Md., also in attendance was the bridegroom's mother, Cheryl Citino of Salem.
The Rev. Kathryn Huffer officiated at the double-ring ceremony.
The bride wore a strapless white silk gown enhanced with delicate jeweled beading at the waist. She carried a bouquet of red roses.
The new Mrs. Citino is a 2003 graduate of NEOUCOM in Rootstown. She is employed as a physician hospitalist at Riverside Hospital in Columbus.
Mr. Citino attended Youngstown State University and is employed in business development in the Maryland/D.C. area.
A dinner was held at DaVinci's Restaurant in Marco Island.
The bride's parents are Dr. and Mrs. David Drake of Salem and Marsha Drake of Tallmadge.
The bridegroom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Primo Citino of Salem.
The newlyweds reside between Dublin and Baltimore. They plan to take a delayed honeymoon later this year.
