- David Ress, 38, 6081 E. Garfield Road, Petersburg, was stopped in an A&A Transport truck on state Route 14 when Hannah Yoder, 17, 9420 W. Calla Road, Salem, struck him from behind at 6:15 p.m. Friday.

- Tammy Johnson, 45, 121 E. High St., Salineville, was traveling west on state Route 39 at 7:58 p.m. Tuesday and pulled to the side of the road when she saw smoke from under the hood. A short time later the car was engulfed in flames. An officer noticed signs of impairment and tested her. She was cited with OVI and expired plates.

- Kay Scyoc, 54, 325 E. Railroad St., Columbiana, was traveling west on state Route 14 when a Chevy Colbalt driven by Giacynta Kosmo, 19, 4231 Patricia Ave., Youngstown, turned left in front of her going east at 1:40 p.m. Sept. 27.

- Carrie Vanmeter, 29, 16537 Delmar Drive, Minerva, was southbound on Sprucevale road when she drove off the right side of the road, struck a stop sign and fled 12:10 p.m. Sept. 29. The vehicle was located at Beaver Creek State Park where an officer left her a note to contact the station. She didn't call so an officer went to her home where she was charged with failure to control, hit-skip and driving under suspension.

- Linda Eells, 62, 9678 Elkton Road, Lisbon, was traveling southwest on Buckeye Road when she became distracted by a dog inside her vehicle and traveled off the road striking a ditch at 10:15 a.m. Friday.

- Kristopher Alspaugh, 17, 330 Washington Ave., Alliance, was traveling eastbound on state Route 172 at 9:50 a.m. June 29 when he failed to negotiate a curve and traveled off the right side of the road, over corrected and slid sideways over the center line where Dustin Kober, 17, 29551 Georgetown Road, Salem, was traveling westbound and stuck Alspaugh on the right side of the car. Alspaugh was transported by emergency helicopter to St. Elizabeth's where he tested positive for having marijuana in his system and was cited accordingly.

- Steven Horst, 44, 31341 Willard Road, Hanoverton was traveling northbound on state Route 644 in a GM vehicle, and James Lamp, 38, 14498 Foundry Hill Road, Summitville, was northbound following Horst on a Harley Davidson motorcycle when Horst began to turn left into a field. Lamp failed to maintain assured clear distance striking the left side of Horst and came to rest under the rear axle. Officers noted there was no licence plate on the Harley, and Lamp had a suspended license and no motorcycle endorsement. A VIN number was found and the owner called to assist with any information on the motorcycle. The situation is under investigation.
