SALEM - Ronald H. Peterson Sr. 73, of East Pershing Street, formerly of Lisbon, died at 7:25 a.m. Sunday at the Circle of Care.
Born June 9, 1940, in Lisbon, he was the son of the late Robert A. and Mable J. (McDevitt) Peterson.
Mr. Peterson was a truck driver and had worked for several trucking companies over the years until he retired in 1995. He was a former member of the Lisbon First Christian Church. He served following the Korean War, as a member of the Air Force.
Survivors include his daughters, Kasondra Peterson of Salem, Molly Peterson of Lisbon, Lori (Chris) Coleman of Ohio, and Dreama of California; sons, Ronald H. Peterson II of Lisbon, Kenne Peterson of Canton, Scott Peterson of Florida and John Peterson of Salem; brothers, Karle Peterson of Lisbon and Jon (Nikki) Peterson of Annapolis, Md.; 11 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home with the Rev. Greg Bibler of the Lisbon First Christian Church officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until the time of services Wednesday at the funeral home.
