- Joe Bernet, Stroup Road, Hanoverton, reported at 11:45 a.m. Oct. 2 he and his sons were in the fields and when his son drove past the house they saw a door open. It appeared someone went through all the cabinets, cupboards and drawers. A safe was missing.

- David Johnson, Sandy Springs Road, Minerva, reported at 10:26 a.m. Monday he has a building on U.S. Route 30 in West Township, which he uses for storage. When he purchased it, another man was leasing part of the space from the previous owner and continued to lease it from Johnson. However, Johnson reportedly told the man he was evicted and had found damage to the back door of the wood shop. The other man reportedly agreed to repair the door.

- Connie Greathouse, Tower Road, Salem, reported at 5:17 a.m. Tuesday her dog started barking and when she looked out she saw lights inside her garage and heard movement inside. Deputies checked the garage, including upstairs and did not find anyone. However, they did find a pocket knife laying on the steps, which was not recognized by any of the family members.

- Mark Frederick of Frederick Auto Sales, state Route 45, Lisbon, reported at 12:14 p.m. Monday someone shot the driver's door of a car on the lot for sale. A dent was found above the handle of the door and the paint was chipped off.
