LISBON - Laura A. Barnes, 44, of Eric Drive, passed away unexpectedly Monday at her home.
She was born Nov. 9, 1968, in Cheverly, Md., the daughter of the late Gary Lee Barnes and Susan Louise (Gongaware) Barnes-Conaway.
She moved back to the East Liverpool area in 1971 from Maryland, and then to the Lisbon area in 1977.
She had worked as a waitress at the Columbiana American Legion, as a clerk at the Leetonia State Store, and as a sales consultant at the Sleepy Hollow Store in Alliance. She was Lutheran by baptism.
She is survived and will be dearly missed by her parents; a daughter, Lindsay L. Keating of Lisbon; her long-time companion, Jeff Keating of Lisbon; a brother, Lance B. Conaway of Lisbon; and a granddaughter, Adalynn M. Ours of Lisbon.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. today at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home with the Rev. Ralph Edwards officiating.
The family will receive friends from noon until the time of services today at the funeral home.
