NORTH LIMA Eugene "J.R." Franklin Wright Jr., 59, of North Lima, died Sunday afternoon at Ivy Woods Manor surrounded by his family after an extended illness.
Born Feb. 28, 1954, in Youngstown, he was the son of Eugene and Eleanor Jean (Span) Wright Sr.
Mr. Wright was employed as a truck mechanic at Wright Trucking, was part owner of Harbison Drywalling, and was self-employed with his brother Don in Tomahawk Auto Detailing in North Lima. He was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his mother of Boardman, he leaves his father and stepmother Eugene Sr. and Julie of North Lima; a daughter, Natalie (Gary) Wright of Williamstown, N.J.; two sons, Nicholas (Juliana) Wright and Joseph (Sasha) Wright, all of Columbiana; three grandchildren; and four brothers, William (Stephanie) Wright of Edinburg, Pa., David (Kari) Wright of Dublin, Ohio, Donald Wright of Boardman and Gary (Carolyn) Wright of Mountain View, Calif.
Memorial services will be held at noon Saturday at Seederly-Mong and Beck Funeral Home, 11500 Market St., North Lima, with Chaplain Gary Rozier officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the funeral home.
