DAMASCUS - The monthly community breakfast will be served from 7 to 11 a.m. today at the Damascus United Methodist Church, 300 Valley Road. The suggested donation is $5 for adults and $3 for children under 10.

SALEM - A free chili supper will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 25 at Southeast Friends Church social hall, 1300 Franklin Ave.

COLUMBIANA - Doors open at 12:30 p.m. Nov. 3 on Super Bingo Sunday at St. Jude Parish, 180 Seventh St. Games begin at 2 p.m. A $25 donation includes cards for all regular games, a free dauber and coffee and pop. Specials are sold separately. A total of $3,400 in cash prizes will be awarded, including a $1,000 guaranteed coverall. Lunch items and baked good will be available for purchase.

SUMMITVILLE - St. John's Church on Smith Road will serve its annual turkey dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 6 to 12. Carryouts are available for $10.50.

The Salem Area Visiting Nurse Association will be on site to administer flu shots from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

SALEM - A fall revival will be held Oct. 22-27 at the Salem Wesleyan Methodist Church, 1095 Newgarden Ave. Service times are 7:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Sunday. Special guests are the Rev. and Mrs. Daniel Hardy Sr.

COLUMBIANA - The First Presbyterian Church at 28 E. Park Ave. will hold its seventh annual "Indoor Flea Market" from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 23 during the "Christmas in Columbiana" weekend. Over 30 vendor tables will be filled with yard sale, garage sale, antique, collectible and craft items. An eat-in or carry out lunch counter will feature a variety of homemade item, a holiday quilt raffle, and basket raffle. Vendors are needed and asked to contact the church office at 330-482-2666. Admission and parking are free.

GUILFORD LAKE - The Cross Roads Council of the Knights of Columbus is sponsoring an auction at 6 p.m. Nov. 1 in the Ruritan building on state Route 172 at Hanna Drive. The proceeds of the auction will benefit the church youth programs.

NORTH LIMA - Calvary United Methodist Church of North Lima is taking orders for homemade apple dumplings. To place an order, call 330-549-2588 or 330-549-5106 and leave your name, quantity wanted, if you want them baked or unbaked, and your phone number. Your order will be confirmed to you. Cost is $2.95 per dumpling. A portion of the profits is used for mission projects.

The dumplings will be made on Oct. 24 and 25 and may be picked up at the church from noon to 4 p.m. on those days, or from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 26.

Walk-in are also available. The church is located at 12062 South Avenue at the junctions of routes 164 and 165.

A new service, Spirit and Power In Christ Eternal (SPICE) begins at 6:30 pm. Oct. 26. The services will be held at 6:30 p.m. every Saturday.

WASHINGTONVILLE - Weekly Wednesday worship services begin at 6 p.m. at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 150 E. Main St. Pastor Kari Lankford, pastor of Trinity Lutheran in Washingtonville and St. Paul's Lutheran in Leetonia, offers this weekday service to those who cannot attend church at the traditional weekend times. All are welcome.

NORTH LIMA - The public is invited to an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet from 7 to 10 a.m. Oct. 26 at the North Lima Mennonite Church, 90 Mennonite Drive.

Donations will be accepted. Items on the buffet include eggs, pancakes, french toast, sausage, potatoes, homemade rolls, sausage gravy and biscuits, peppers and mushrooms, coffee, orange juice, and other beverages. For additional information call the church at 330-549-2333.

BELOIT - The public is invited to a chicken and biscuit dinner from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Oct. 26, or until sold out, at the Bunker Hill United Methodist Church, 15096 W. Middletown Road, Beloit. The menu offers homemade chicken and gravy with biscuits, mashed potatoes, vegetables, cole slaw, dessert and beverage. Cost is $8 per person and $5 for children ages 2 to 6. Dine in or carryout are available.

DAMASCUS The public is invited to a free movie titled "Home Run" at 7 p.m. Nov. 8 at the Damascus Friends Church, 28857 Walnut St. To view the trailer visit homerunthemovie.com.

NORTH LIMA - The Gate Church will hold a free indoor fall fest from 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 2. The event offers family fun for all ages including food, games, a petting zoo, live band, bounce around, crafts, photo opportunities, etc. Free gift baskets and a grand prize will be given away at the conclusion of the fest.
